and Tiffany Torrie.
A phenomenal collection of poignant and emotional work created by senior students at Hockerill Anglo-European College to reflect on the ups and downs of an academic year heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. By reading their carefully crafted prose, poems and Haiku, by looking at their beautiful illustrations and photographs, we get an insight into their world. Should I travel many thousands of miles back home for Christmas and risk catching Covid as well as spend weeks in quarantine, or stay at a near-empty college with a few others? For the students, these were very real questions that were near impossible to answer. Some caught the virus, others managed to avoid it, but all were deeply affected by it.
