The Author takes her inspiration from her youngest daughter Piper and her pet chicken, Minnie, who are the best of friends. The author lives with her husband and three home educated daughters on a small farm in West Norfolk, UK. They are surrounded by arable fields, their own sheep, chickens, dogs and ponies, some of which will feature in the Piper and Minnie book series.
