Five protagonists, secure in their privilege, joyful in their camaraderie, determine to enjoy simple pleasures amongst scenes of tumult in Hong Kong. The City’s internal aliens seek solace amongst their clan, brave in their banter but unsettled in their minds by the stress of careers, The Protests and the looming presence of The Man. The friends beloved City of fun, tolerance and civilized diversity is spiralling into violence and the cross-contamination into their psyches and attitudes will prove impossible to deny. Ideological confrontations and the complex schisms of a disintegrating society in-between days will take their toll.
