When Alex’s car spins out of control and crashes, he is left in a coma, his life in the balance. Lying in intensive care, he is unable to speak or open his eyes. But he can hear every word that’s being spoken. And he’s scared. The first words he hears fill him with dread. ‘His wife, sitting by his bedside, furiously demands answers - she wants to know what he was doing all the way out there. He has no idea. Where had he been? Why? He can’t remember a thing.
As Alex slowly regains consciousness and recovers, he tries to piece together the events leading up to the accident. After a flash of memory is restored he remembers something from the present - but also a past that must remain secret. Healing physically is the easy part. The emotional scars are almost impossible to live with.
His loyal family remain by his side, offering support, but they have problems to deal with as well. Alex’s wife and son are struggling to see eye-to-eye and face the mounting difficulties in their lives. Neither understands how complex and threatening their situation has become.
One thing is certain, though. Alex must tread carefully. He has no idea how all this will end. One careless move could jeopardise everyone’s happiness. And he must bear the responsibility.
