Earth Mother has a Big Cough and it is getting bigger.

While minding her business in the rainforest tending to some baby scorpions, little person, Lily Litter- Picker, Eco- Warrior, conservationist and litter - picker is grabbed by a Woolly Spider Monkey and a Hyacinth Macaw. They tell her in turn that Earth Mother’s Big Cough will get worse if people keep polluting and they will all become sick.

But the World Leaders at the ‘People of Earth Mother’ (POEM) building refuse to listen, ignoring Lily until the people get the Big Cough too.

To stop the pollution spreading, Lily Litter- Picker locks up all the grown - ups, including the World Leaders to give Earth Mother a chance to get better.

Will Lily Litter- Picker be in time to save Earth Mother and the people from Earth Mother’s Big Cough or will everyone get very, very sick?

This is a fantasy story of a little litter- picking superhero called Lily Litter- Picker, set in the real world, an adventure picture book for readers interested in conservation and saving the planet. It allows for discussion about how the planet and its animals can recover very quickly if the pollution is reduced, as it did during the early days of ‘Corona Virus - Covid 19 Lockdown’.
