Tales from the Golden City

Imagine being ten years old and told that you are emigrating to South Africa. That is exactly what happened to me, and I found out that many UK families had made similar decisions in the early 1980s. Over seven years, I made many new friends, had many exciting adventures with a plethora of characters, and visited many places in South Africa spanning from Johannesburg to the Cape. I tell tales so concreted in my memory that it is like they happened yesterday. Stories of exploration, mystery, and surprise. I share them all and hope you enjoy and occasionally laugh at this extremely detailed trip down my memory lane, in one of the world's most beautiful countries.
