The History of the Ottoman Empire

For 622 years, one family ruled across three continents - from the borders of Spain, across Asia and Africa, to the lands of Indonesia and Yemen. 36 Sultans protected the people of their lands, regardless of religion or race. The people within their borders were able to keep their language - their culture, but more importantly their identity. Despite a single Turkish Dynasty, ruling for over six centuries, very few countries speak the Turkish language today. This was due to the respect and non-discrimination, that this Empire showed - till its final days. What was the name of this mighty Dynasty - more specifically - this mighty family?

They were known as the Osmanlis, but history will always know them, as the Ottomans.

No other Empire in history produced 36 rulers, from one family, uninterrupted. They were the protectors of the weak, the catalysts of developing science, art, architecture, welfare and civilization. But most importantly, they were the protectors of faith.
