Author Adrian H Perkins and co-researchers, Tina Cockerill, and Mark Marriott, spent two years researching documents regarding the tenements around All Saints Church as far back in time as records would allow. Their main objective was to find out who built the vaulted cellar below the Northampton and County Club in George Row and, what was its original purpose. Speculation is one thing; hard facts can prove very different. This is an honest report with researched documentation free from speculation.
