Tamara Natalie Madden was born in Jamaica and settled in the USA. Her life was blighted by illness, but she found solace and success in art, creating work that sought to heighten the overlooked and forgotten, focusing on the intrinsic beauty of each individual. She used golden washes, bright colours and silk fabrics to evoke a sense of regality in each of her paintings. Her pieces have been featured in many publications and collected worldwide. Sadly Tamara passed away in 2017 at the age of 42, leaving an impressive body of work.
