How Far from the Tree?

In a small Alpine village, five tipsy teenagers make a mistake which haunts their future and tears apart their friendship group. Twenty years later, two sisters set off on a gap year to visit extraordinary places and make connections with people all over the world. But when their world is turned upside-down, and everything they believed about themselves turns out to be false, they head back to the French Alps where their parents had lived, to try and understand.

Set against a background of glamourous ski resorts, rugged Northumberland coastlines and international music festivals, this compelling story follows the sister's attempts to unravel the truth, and discover if family means the one you are born into, or the one you find for yourself.
