'Sirens and Birdsong' is the first collection of poems by Nikki Lye. Her poems were initially inspired by her personal experiences during the Lockdown period: the contrasting beauty of the springtime against the backdrop of suffering. Within the book she also includes lively and amusing anecdotes from her life, and observations from her love of nature, creating an autobiographical account which is deeply personal.

The poems have been beautifully illustrated by Daisy Wardell in line and wash prints, bringing this collection to life.
