The Mirror Gates

Charley is worried! Her archaeologist parents are marooned on a sinking island and when an antique mirror transforms into a mysterious gateway, she too faces danger.

Transported to a parallel world, Charley meets Charles - a boy who looks eerily like her - and they soon discover they are linked to a great source of magic.

Pursued by horrific creatures but helped by a magical cat, the new friends must flee across different worlds and times after a wizard becomes determined to uncover their secret.

Their adventure takes them to the scene of a great historical battle after which they must face the wizard himself in a desperate struggle to rescue Charley's parents and return safely home.
