Lenon Patterson serves in the military alongside his friend Daniel. He was deployed so he did not make it to Daniel's wedding even though he wanted to be there so bad. He saved Daniel in a war while they were in Afghanistan and lost the rest of his team members. That resulted in him having PTSD when he came back. Daniel also had PTSD but he was able to overcome it when he met the woman he married in the woodland. Lenon got more frustrated when he got to his home town and his fiance broke up with him. He thought she bailed on him because he had PTSD. But later he discovered there was more to it. He followed Daniel's advice, so he went to the woodland to reside while receiving treatment from a specialist. They made him have a dog that was always with him to make him realize that he was not alone. He found love in the town and also he was seen as a hero because he had impacted the woodland positively while he was there. His girlfriend and dog were with him throughout the fight with PTSD. Their love grew stronger into an unbreakable bond.
