After losing his mother and sister in the early days of WW2, Jason Spencer went on to lead an adventurous life. Discharged from the Royal Navy because T.B. he had various jobs— motor mechanic, driving instructor, and Pilot of light planes unknowingly carrying drugs— and finding himself in serious trouble with very dangerous people who are determined to make him disappear— one way or another!

After taking up a new career as a driving Instructor. He cannot help getting involved into dangerous sexual situations that sometimes highlight his lack of responsibilities to his vulnerable pupils!

And also spreads his reputation far and wide. He tries very hard to justify his exploits— but has no one to answer to but himself— and maybe his on off girlfriend Rosie the bar maid at his local. Qualifying as an aircraft pilot opens up a whole new world— albeit a very dangerous one when he finds himself embroiled in a drugs circle through no fault of his own!
