In this sequel to The Magic Slippers...
By a strange quirk of fate, Stu had found a job that he enjoyed and was good at. He was a Planning Surveyor responsible for drawing up programmes, material scheduling and measuring the bonus. He was the Site Manager's right hand man and even ran sites himself when the need arose.
Stu was in a construction unit called Unit Two: a great bunch of lads, always up for a laugh, especially with their Tea Lady, Mavis. She ended up subjected to exploding cigarettes and purple tea. Jack Wild was the Construction Manager. He ended up the victim of exploding caps under his blotter and taped to the wheels of his chair.
The biggest challenge for Stu was the job at the Film, Photography and Television Museum in Bradford. Stu ran it himself and it tested him to the limit.
