An ordinary family in every way, except for one thing. One of the siblings, Mazy, has a severe mental disorder. The 'ordinary' now shoots out of the window and their tumultuous journey begins. One of extreme hardship.
The mother picks up on the different signs and signals which the child, barely two years of age, gradually demonstrates. The family begins to suffer which is conducive to all sorts of arguments, disagreements, quarrels, bickering and disputes. Some are even in denial of what they are gradually seeing before their very eyes. The father thinks his daughter's 'habits' will eventually disappear if they ignore it. The mother thinks differently.
As Mazy grows, will she continue in her plight to fight the demons in her head? Those demons that obscure her mind and strip her of all will and purpose of living. For until now, she is only existing. So, will they all go downhill, in this fast-descending helter-skelter of emotions?
Can anyone steer them into stability?
This is a tale of constant struggle, of strength, of great patience, not only on the part of the sufferer, but also on the part of the parents and one of the siblings in particular, in their endeavour to keep the family together, at all costs, come what may.
Above all, it is about feelings and emotions, of guilt and impotence, but most importantly, it's about never giving up.
