As a young girl living with an abusive stepmother, Amina Giselle began to use daydreaming as a means to escape her world. It wasn’t until it unleashed a buried traumatic memory that her life spiralled even further. How does a child come to terms with a traumatic memory when malevolence already breathed and thrived in her desolate environment?
