The Davies family has a secret. A long hidden one that Ryan Davies has never guessed at until his mother, after a cancer scare, divulges it to him and his sister.

Back at the beginning of the twentieth century, his grandfather came across a rich deposit of minerals near Everest, Minnesota, and staked his claim. But forces beyond their control have kept them away from it.

Arthur Borgen, former OSS agent, and his current associates are willing to do all it takes to continue keeping the Davies family from fulfilling their dream of creating a beneficial co-op mining initiative to spread the wealth about for all to enjoy.

Luckily for the Davies family, his beautiful daughter, Sophie, has other ideas, and maybe, with her help, they can save the mine and create something of real value in this world.
