Green Shoots Rising

Green Shoots Rising is an exciting and stimulating collection of poems aimed primarily at primary age children. It’s full of thought provoking and amusing poems which children, and adults will love.

The ‘green shoots’ of the title are a play on words as the new generation needs both to be and to see the green shoots rising at this time of imminent ecological catastrophe. Many of the poems in the book are on the ‘green’ theme but many others are about different aspects of this stage and wonderful business we call life. Green Shoots Rising follows on from Andy Tooze’s two previous collections of poems published by Matador.
