Ben Burrows and his family are looking forward to settling down and new beginnings on their farm, but as the winds of change blow hard across their lives and there is a possibility that they might blow things in a dangerous direction. Storm clouds loom on the horizon as the news that an old enemy has escaped from prison. As usual, his old reliable crew and friends come to support him but they soon find things are spiralling dangerously out of control as they discover that there is much more to the escape than they at first thought.

This is the fourth book in the saga.

Previous comments of this saga on Amazon:

It is a book that once you start to read you can’t put down.

I would recommend it to anyone as a really good story and read. - Susan.

This historical fiction novel is very well-researched and well-written.

This man really is a hidden treasure. Our large reader group actually wait for his books! His characters, like the author himself, are charismatic, rounded and believable. One of the best writers I have read in a long time. No great violence, evil or foul language, just a fantastic read.

A brilliant read. Interesting characters and themes and a brilliantly executed ending. A real gripping novel set at sea. I’ll be interested to dive into more of his work. Wayne Martin
