Christian Bunyan is my given name. In 2004, I was able to travel to the Rocky Mountains with the help of the girl on the cover of this little book. She held me next to the closed window ever so carefully. She knew of my strong desire to see the mountains of the west. She spoke of when she was first smitten with the high country snows in 1985, her living in a little cabin next to the National Forest from 1991 through 1994 and the Elk hunting adventures she and her family thoroughly enjoyed for 20 years.
