Heavens to Betsy
Betsy McCorkel, a seventy something woman, has a penchant for life. She dances naked under the Harvest Moon as Willie Nelson strums his guitar and has four tag-a-long pets: Henry a tarantula, Stinky a badger, 'Oh Crap' a dog, and Spike a cat. She and her husband, Edgar, live in a ramshackle RV in the middle of the Sonoran Desert.
When Edgar dies in a very unusual manner, she is forced to forge a new life and find a new love in the California city of Azusa with her daughter, three grandkids, and her son-in-law, a pompous, pious pastor, who may or may not be a narcissist but, probably is. He is a pastor in the local Methodist church
