Stef’s Trumpet Method: Setup, Maintenance & Development of the Trumpet Embouchure & an Approach to Jazz Improvisation

Trumpeter Steffen Kuehn developed ‘Stef’s Trumpet Method’ over the course of the last 15 years and has successfully taught his method to hundreds of Trumpet students. Steffen Kuehn is a German-born Trumpeter, Composer, Arranger, Producer & Educator who resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and performs nationally and internationally. His Latin Big Band ‘Pacific Mambo Orchestra’, that he co-founded in 2010 is the recipient of the 2013 Grammy® Award for ‘Best Tropical Latin Album’. Steffen is a Co-Executive of ‘Pacific Mambo LLC’ and ‘Pacific Mambo Records’ as well as the Founder and President of ‘Stefrecords’ and its Publishing arm ‘TrumPOP Publishing’. Steffen is a published writer and has performed with the biggest names in Latin music, R&B and Jazz.
