The author, the Revd Dr David Thompson, has written a fascinating book, describing how his Christian beliefs have been inspired by and connected with Joseph and the coat of many colours. This, then is a double memoir. Not only has Dr Thompson written a moving account of his own life and his spiritual journey, but at the same time the story of Joseph and his amazing adventures, which were inspired by God. Many moving parallels are drawn between the two lives in the most thought-provoking manner.
