AUTHOR: Peggy Shannon has spent the past five years researching and photographing notable and lesser-known churches in Paris. During thousands of hours on the ground in the City of Light, she has interviewed and developed close relationships with historians, city administrators, clergy, academics, and tour guides. These relationships have given her exceptional access to little-known historical details that inform the texts accompanying her photographs. Shannon holds a B.A. degree in Psychology and Religion from the College of Santa Fe and studied Folklore and Arts Administration in the master’s program at Indiana University.
