THE PENDRAGON COLLECTION 7: During the poetical training of Damian Beeson Bullen, he prepared three separate didactic essays to reflect his studies. The first, from 2002, & entitled ‘Immortal Arena’ relates the history of poetry alongside its chief adherents. The second set of writings, entitled ‘Poetical Essays’ were finalized on the Sicilian island of Marettimo at the end of 2006. The final essays - the Pendragon Lectures - were composed in 2015, as DBB approached the 20-year mark of his poetical training. This volume also contains the first two essays of DBB’s ongoing American Poets series.
