This book is an intimate collection of verse with particular emotional intensity and passion. They were written during a period of change and upheaval for me, and so they reflect my examination of the role of change, loss, grief and unpredictability in all our lives. Other poems reflect the unifying threads that hold us together as human beings, in the face of forces that would pull us apart.
