Cry of the Dawn

Discovered and rescued as a baby during a fierce battle between the Danryllians and Skanians, Skye has never really fitted into life in Danrylle. His physical size means he can’t even blend in, attracting stares and comments wherever he goes. Unfortunately, he also seems to attract trouble. At the opposite end of the social scale, Henrietta Mason is the young daughter of a lord, enjoying all the privileges and security that come with it. So when supernatural forces come to claim Henrietta just as she is coming of age, Skye, of course, finds himself in the middle of it all when he inadvertently saves her life. Now an accidental kidnapper with a terrified captive, he needs to find out what these dark forces want with Henrietta to clear his name. To add to the mess, he might also be the reluctant incarnation of a mystical warrior, prophesied to open the gates of hell.
