Paul Murphy: Peacemaker

Paul Murphy represented Wales in Parliament from 1987 to 2015. In the nearly thirty years that he served, including two stints in the Cabinet, he played key roles in the establishment and nurturing of fundamental constitutional change, including the pivotal part he played as Northern Ireland Minister under Mo Mowlam in negotiating the Good Friday Agreement.
