And the longer she worked with him, the harder it was to ignore the fire burning between them. Not even the devil on her trail, a crazy she-wolf or insane, red-eyed monsters chasing them seemed to deter him from his goal-her. Maybe, for him, she could take a chance and trust him to keep his promise.
