The Church! When Did It Begin? (and Why Is That Important?)

The beginning of The Church which is the Body of Christ represents a change in God's stewardships; i.e. a change of stewards and a shift in the message that God was giving to man. When that took place, God committed new responsibilities to these new stewards; i.e. to us, Gentile Christians who replaced the Nation of Israel as His servants and stewards. Therefore, if we are to be faithful stewards, we need a clear knowledge of what the Lord has committed to us, and for that we need to understand what is set forth in the Scriptures. - First, we need to know and understand what the message was to the Jews and what their responsibilities were.- Then we need to know and understand what message God has given for us Gentiles today and what our responsibilities are. We also need to know when these things changed, and what happened at that time.
