This is the second volume of the History of the Emergency Medical Services, the first of which was published in October 1952. It contains the history of these Services in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and the story of great air attacks on the chief Industrial Centres following the end of Battle of Britain from September 1940, until June 1941. It also includes the Baedeker raids in 1942.
