Barnaby has many friends, both at his home and in the beautiful Peak District countryside surrounding it. First there are Dilly and Bumble, his labrador sisters , then there’s Bobbin the Robin who visits the bird table every day. The friendly dogs he meets on his walk are always interested in what he has to say, but the deer steer clear of him, even though he’s on the lead. The Highland cattle that belong to dad’s friend are just a little bit scary - those long horns, all that hair - but the chickens are always up for a game of chase me . His owner, award-winning photographer Villager Jim, captures these meetings on camera, allowing us all into Barnaby’s world.
