There once was a cow who wouldn't Moo! The cow's name was Oreo, and he had a very different sounding Moo. So different that the other cows picked on him. So, he stopped Mooing!
When a dangerous thunderstorm materializes and a friend is in danger, Oreo must make a big decision: will he let his fears stop him from using his voice, or will he speak up?
This story was inspired by a real cow. While the author was walking through a pasture, she heard a cow whose Moo was very different from the other cows. Soon afterward, she thought about her four grandsons and how wonderfully different they are from each other. She wrote this story to encourage children to be themselves and help them understand that it is our uniqueness that makes each of us special.
