Several years ago, a friend of ours and her four children became homeless, living in a small pop-up camper. It was obvious they could not stay in the camper, so we invited them into our home. In time, they got beyond the end of the road and into a home they could call their own.
These drawings, which I call Postcards From the Pop-Up, were meant to amuse the children. That summer the pop-up embarked upon a road trip to strange and exotic places, where it would send us back a postcard.
