The collection is made up of poems composed from 1992 to late 2022. The poet sees his writing as a journey and that gives rise to the title Along The Way. Most of the poems were previously published by several magazines and online publications. The poems are organic in the sense that they draw from the poet's experiences and those of fellow human beings. The poet delves into issues in the social, political, economic environment he finds himself in and some poems address issues such as African spirituality, apostasy and other global issues in so far as they affect him and fellow human beings. He does not shy away from speaking truth to power for the betterment of the lives of the ruled. The poet invites you to

Jabulani Mzinyathi is a poet-thinker born in Gweru, Zimbabwe in September 1965. He is a former teacher, ex-magistrate and is presently a lawyer in private practice. He calls himself a triple P man: poet, prophet and philosopher. Several of his literary works appear in Zimbolicious volumes, BNAP publications, magazines and ezines. Jabulani's past poetry collections are Under The Steel Yoke, Righteous Indignation (Mwanaka Media and Publishing), In The Steel Talons (Footprints Publishing House, Malawi) and a chiShona novel Mumambure (Progressive Publishers, Zimbabwe).
