Silver Buck is about a young man from Texas, who goes to Colorado to find his sick Great-Granddad has died, but not as Dan Walters had told him. Buck Taylor and his trusted horse, Blacky; meet his Great-Granddad's best friend, Jeb. Together they go on adventures through the great mountains of Colorado, in the dead of winter, where he encounters the woman of his dreams. Durango and Telluride, in the gun-toting old west, provide interesting for their adventures. He sends for his parents, who come to Colorado with men and cattle from Texas, for the ranch he starts.
