The devil doesn't exist. He's a fictional figure with horns and a pitchfork. Or a beautiful, fallen angel, alive and breathing in Devil's Bend. Tucked away in a place called Devil's Bend looms an isolated school for at-risk youth. Legend says the land is cursed. But for Jackson Cadieux-a teacher-it offers him a chance to teach the unteachable. Jackson tries to embrace the strangeness of the imposing school and the headmaster, Andrew Zagata despite his fiancee, Poppy Barlowe having a constant case of the collywobbles, and Anastasia Laurier's claim she hears weird noises at night. But when students begin to disappear, the forces dwelling in the unholy school will no longer be ignored and the truth will be revealed.
