Follow alongside a family of young raccoons (cousins) who grow up in the woodlands surrounding Mulberry Farm. A young boy named Finn, who is spending his summer holidays on the farm with his grandparents, becomes a true friend and helps them live out some of their adventures. In a unique turn of events, one of the main characters undergoes a life-altering experience. A female raccoon named Willow, transitions to a male raccoon. This of course initially causes great upset and confusion for her cousins, but slowly, they begin to realize that Willow is much happier as Wallace. The raccoons search out and unravel the legend of the white raccoon, and become young revolutionaries, preferring to move away from their inherited nocturnal behaviours and opting to live out their lives in daylight. This development presents a major challenge for them as there is great opposition from the local raccoons and especially, a menacing raccoon named Shadow.
