For months Eiji tried to forget her time spent inside the fairytale world with Lord Sesshoshi, but she cannot. He plagues her thoughts and haunts her dreams. Eiji is invited to the western castle to supervise Lord Ko, Sesshoshi’s younger brother, during a banquet. The invitation brings Eiji face to face with Sesshoshi once again.

Eiji soon discovers Sesshoshi has regained his memories, and he has a bone to pick with her about the stunt she pulled with the moon robe. Once reunited, a new threat splits their attention between each other and keeping their own kind safe.

The Shogun has made a weapon. It can destroy hordes of yokai with a single blast. The northern and eastern yokai lords will go to war to stop the Shogun from marching on their lands. Eiji senses the weapon is made of reiki and sets out to destroy it.

Her quest will bring her and Sesshoshi closer together. They must confront the secrets they’ve kept from each other and learn to trust one another once again.
