Lou Grimes is an ex-Chicago Police Detective, now Private Detective and has established himself as a credible gumshoe. Since capturing the Chicago Predator his services are in demand and each case he takes on has an element of danger and challenge. Since that fateful day at the track when Whitie Simms, a small town hood, now dead, forced the old Colt 45 on him for $25, Lou’s alliance with his new found cousins, the Earps have given him a ghostly edge. A long time had passed since things were simple, the track and a beer. Lou now finds himself embroiled in a deadly game of chess and time is of the essence. But someone in Chicago has decided to leave sacrifices on church steps and the Chicago Police Department once again needs the help of Lou Grimes and the Tombstone Detective Agency.
