Shoe Trouble is the story of a little girl named Eleanor who keeps forgetting her shoes at school. On Monday she forgets her shoes. Tuesday she forgets her gumboots. Wednesday she forgets her sandals. Thursday she forgets her slippers, but on Friday she has remembered to collect them all to take home ? but what has she forgotten now? About the Author and Illustrator: Eleanor Neil is a first-time author; Shoe Trouble will be her debut children's book. Lisa Allen is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Muriwai on Auckland's west coast. Her work is based mostly in children's book illustration and design. Lisa is a member of the NZSA & SCWBI. She is also volunteer as a role model for Duffy Books in Homes.
