I am a woman living with Cerebral Palsy (CP) since birth. This book is a compilation of my personal journals while I was going to school for Public Affairs and Policy Management at Carleton University in Ottawa Ontario Canada. When I was prepping for graduation and finishing my final Honours essay for school, I had a realization that based on experience that most of the world does not think or experience life the way I do. Despite my CP, the world still didn’t seem to process experiences, feelings or ideas the same way I’ve learned to be my normal way of functioning. Society and certain people can have pre-determined ideas about how individuals with disabilities, with or without learning challenges, should relate to the world. I’ve constantly tried to understand them and allow my very unique voice to be heard. I’m just a regular girl trying to make sense of them very confusing and upside down world. That can be confusing to even the most intelligent and intellectual of able-bodied people. There have also been definite times where God has turned my entire understanding of the world upside down. God was challenging me with the most loving Truth there is. Hold on tight because This is a Game Changer: Hold That Thought!
