A salute to the industrious hard working people of a city block at the foot of Mount Royal in Montreal. A time capsule of the author’s recollections from his youth where the Rachel Street market was a meeting place of people from different ethnic backgrounds, religions and customs, most of whom new to Canada established themselves and called it home.
