The non-Myths of the Bible

The Bible clearly declares that Creation was quite recent. This is seen by the great majority of people, to be foolishness. However if the rotation of the Earth really is slowing down, the equatorial bulge of the Earth will diminish. Unfortunately the bulge is required to enable the gravity of the Moon to keep the axial tilt of the Earth stable. The equatorial bulge along with the tidal bulge give the Moon something to tug on to enable the Moon’s gravity to stabilize the axial tilt which of course is necessary to enable the Earth to remain widely habitable. The period of stability with a decelerating Earth cannot be more than a few hundreds of thousands of years at the most. This is most disappointing if one was counting on the Earth being habitable into the distant future or if one was hopeful that one day man would colonize the solar system or even the universe. These things will never happen for numerous reasons, the most dominant of which will be an uninhabitable Earth within much less than another million years.
