When his niece goes missing, 28-year-old Max Green agrees to help his older brother Gabriel find her. They ask around town and learn the librarian, Dural, saw Alice getting into a van with a gang of shady-looking men, suggesting they could be at the winery just outside of town. Max and Gabe leave immediately.

At the winery, Max and Gabe interrupt a ritual that Alice is being forced to conduct by Mark, the leader of the kidnappers. He wants her to resurrect his dead child, but something goes wrong. Unable to fully control her powers, Alice fails to revive the child and instead disturbs the natural order of life and death. The failed ritual opens the gate between this world and the Void allowing the monsters that dwell there to invade the world of the living. To make matters worse, when people die, they become the zombie-like Sleepers that kill and destroy. Max must navigate a town filled with monsters in order to save his niece, all while facing his own shortcomings.

Can Max survive their assault? Can he save his niece from Mark and his goons? Will his broken heart ever be mended?

"Song of the Sleepers" is an action-packed zombie horror novel that explores loneliness, hope, and the meaning of life.
