‘Have you ever wondered where magic is found? Why it’s in the garden, of course.’
So begins this gorgeous, fun seek-and-find book which introduces young readers to the gardens of famous artists (and a couple not so well-known). The artists collected here were all inspired by nature, and many created amazing gardens that continue to inspire people all over the world.
Claire Orrell matches her choice of palette perfectly to each artist, as well as giving a précis of their work. There is also the added charm of finding hidden things. I fell in love with this book the minute I saw it and now, as I write this review, I marvel all over again at its beauty and its unique presentation of these amazingly talented people.
A must-have for libraries big and small and for ages 3 and up.
Whether your young reader is interested in science, history, animals or art, we’ve got books that will engage them while teaching them about the world.
