Little Lon scrapes back the layers of history to show how people lived and worked in a post settlement Australian city.

Behind the grand buildings of the big streets was Little Lon. A working-class district of little houses and narrow lanes, bursting with life and the stories of the people who lived there.

The poor of the time are not often celebrated in traditional histories, but Little Lon shows us something of the way people really lived.
