Continuing on from Starfish Sisters, Ocean Pearl follows the journey of four young, talented surfers.
Friends Georgia, Kia and Micki have been selected for the Australian Junior Team Training Camp, while fourth sister Ace just missed out. The girls are reunited when Ace is given a place as the extra in the team. Problems soon arise with Kia’s recurring self-harm and Ace’s extreme self-centeredness, and coupled with boys, surf label sponsors as well as competing against each other, the Starfish Sisters seem to be heading for disaster once again. Can the girls hold on to their bond and make the Australian Junior Surfing Team?
Told from each girl’s point of view, Ocean Pearl is a great follow-on from Starfish Sisters that girls 11+ will enjoy.
