Mortal Beings

The author of Pneuma brings death back to life with this unique collection of poetry. Contextualising the mourning practices of cultures around the world, marrying research with the melodies of imagery and metaphors. We often get stuck in our own little corner of the world with our burials and our cremations, washing down slightly dry cake with a cup of coffee, or bringing food for the people who are left behind.
